Revival

For this painting, I drew inspiration from Jean-Honoré Fragonard’s Rococo work Blind Man’s Buff. I wanted to capture the festive energy it stirs in me—the colors, the movement! It feels like a dance, a swirl of falling leaves. I built up layers with bold brushstrokes, vibrant color accents, and oil pastel drawings across the canvas. The result is a dreamy atmosphere with earthy tones, passionate splashes of red, and touches of luxurious gold.

Size: 35x45,6 in, 89x116 cm. Medium: Mixed Media on a canvas with a layer of protective varnish.
